Starting with just two people and zero external funding, we’ve grown to nearly 200 people and hundreds of clients, while keeping a scrappy, high-ownership mindset. Builders, go-getters, and value creators thrive here. Planners and delegators? Not so much.
The finance team owns the systems, processes, and insights that fuel Planhat’s growth. We manage everything from group reporting and tax to treasury and automation. We all have finance backgrounds, and also a passion for business, particularly scaling software startups.
Ownership and responsibilities
What we care about isn’t the number of years you’ve worked—it’s your ability to drive financial clarity, compliance, and efficiency.
As Group Financial Controller you’ll lead statutory reporting and streamline accounting processes, drive automation, and ensure financial integrity across our global operations.
Lead day-to-day accounting globally (focusing on Sweden, US, and UK), ensuring alignment with IFRS.
Own the period closing process, consolidation, and reporting—delivering accurate results on time.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual work, with a focus on automation.
Manage treasury functions—cash flow forecasts, intra-group cash flows, and maximizing returns on surplus cash.
Oversee tax—corporate tax filings, VAT returns, US sales tax, and transfer pricing.
Administer Oracle NetSuite ERP, implementing solutions that improve control and efficiency.

Location
Success in this mission depends on strong cultural alignment, a fast ramp-up, and close collaboration. You'll work directly with our VP Finance, senior finance, and global leadership teams in Stockholm.
