The G2 Winter Report is here, and Planhat’s development during 2021 has meant a lot to us - and even more to our customers. For the first time, we have been named a G2 Leader in Customer Success. And as if that wasn't enough, we have also been named a Leader in a brand new G2 category, Client Onboarding. A clear sign of the growing importance and constant development in customer success.

When G2 publishes its seasonal reports in spring, summer, fall, and winter, we are able to get a great overview of what our users think, say, and write about us. And now, Planhat’s performance and reviews over the years have moved us from being a “Momentum Leader”, to being awarded the badge of a “Leader”.

But we have no plans on stopping there. The appointment as a Customer Success Leader is proof that we´re on the right path, and that our ambitions are appreciated by the community. But we are always eager to learn where we can continue to improve.



Planhat’s customers rate us highly in the most important category of all: Customer Satisfaction. And we can see why when we score higher than average in the following categories:


  • Ease of doing business with

  • Ease of use

  • Meets requirements

  • Quality of support

These categories are all about the direct connection between us Planhat and our customers, who put their trust in us to help them build their business. We don’t take that trust lightly. Making sure we go out of our way every day to ensure our customers succeed. Internally, we talk about a no-nonsense philosophy. On focusing on creating real value for our customers. And our ratings show us that we´re doing something right.

Actually, we´re so good at helping our customers build their business on Planhat, 93% of them say that they would recommend us.

If we look further into exactly what parts of Planhat are the most appreciated by our users, we see the score our features get (100% being the highest):



At Planhat we fully appreciate that our customers are trusting us with what they find most valuable themselves, their own customers. They are, after all, the center of their business.

So to see that we score so highly on must-have features like Customer health scores, Playbooks, Churn risk, Reporting & dashboards, and Scalability makes us incredibly happy. We continue to improve them and also learned from G2 that 95% of our users agree on this and think that “the product is going in the right direction”. But whenever there is a high score, there is also a low score. Or at least, a lower score. And since we are uncompromising in our mission to empower customer success departments we value these insights just as much:

  • Machine learning (85%)

  • Surveys (86%)

  • Upsell Opportunities (87%)

And while these scores are higher than the average for that category, we don’t measure ourselves based on the average.

And as if Planhat being named a leader in Customer Success wasn't enough, we’ve also been immediately added as a Leader in a brand new category: Client Onboarding.

The premiere of this brand new category in the G2 Winter report confirms what we already know: the post-sales function, the success of your customers, and the skill and competence of the customer success department are key to the future of your business. The act of creating a great onboarding experience followed by a high level of software adoption and constantly growing your customer is crucial for the growth of any software company.

So to be a leader in this category, ahead of many solely onboarding focused tools has been the cherry on top for us with this G2 report.



Finally, as the customer and the customer data, with the help of software, move more and more to the center of businesses, it comes with an increased focus on revenue.

In this year’s G2 Winter Report, Planhat has also been named a high performer in Customer Revenue Optimization and Subscription Revenue Management. Yet another example that our product and our customers all are at the forefront of customers’ entire business success.
